After last September's performance in Parma, Skye returns with a real tour that will touch four Italian cities and as many clubs. He will perform 19 to 22 November in Turin, Rome, Roncade (TV) and Milan respectively at Hiroshima Monamour, Circolo degli Artisti, New Age and Salumeria della Musica .
For three years now Skye Edwards , singer and historical leader of Morcheeba, has devoted herself to a solo career after eleven years with the British group. Morcheeba achieved great success with their trip-hop sounds mixed with pop and electronica, on which Skye's magnetic voice fit perfectly. Blindfold ' e 'The Sea' remain in this respect an excellent example of the British musician's musical background, as well as two tracks that marked the experimental music of the 1990s. Skye never officially left the band, but after the release of the first solo album 'Mind How You Go' , driven by the single 'Love Show' he continued on his way. In 2008, he collaborated with Marc Colin of the Nouvelle Vague on the album 'Hollywood, Mon Amour', reinterpreting some songs from 80s films. On the occasion of his 35th birthday on 27 May 2009, he added a new song to his Myspace page, 'Not Broken' followed by 'Wrong Alright' . The tracks will become part of the new work Keeping Secrets scheduled for release in the coming months.
There will therefore be four opportunities to hear Skye's old hits and to preview new songs, which the British singer will not fail to present on her autumn tour. These are the dates:
