The Styles return to stages across Italy from October to promote their new album 'Newrante', due out on 25 September 2009 (Sonymusic), successor to the debut album 'You Love The Styles' released in 2007.
We left them a year ago with the overwhelming Italian summer tour followed by the European one and we find them again with the same charge and the same desire to play. Guido Style (vocals and guitar), Carlo Style (guitar) and Nick Style (drums)or The StylesDuring this year's break, they dedicated themselves to writing the songs that later became part of the forthcoming album 'Newrante'This was preceded by the single of the same name, which has been in radio rotation for a few days now. On 11 September, rotation of the video also began on the main music stations, a video in which Francesco 'Nongio' Mandelli and Fabrizio Bigio of MTV participated as actors and scriptwriters together with Guido. Both the lyrics and the video clip rage, albeit ironically, against ignorance in the information society and equally against ostentatious intellectualism. The three guys from Erba have come a long way since winning a music contest in 2005 and performing as special guests at concerts by Iggy Pop and the Babyshambles the following year. The general public got to know them mainly thanks to the single + Style' in duet with J-Axwith whom they played throughout the 'Di Sana Pianta' tour, the Milanese rapper's solo debut. The association between the latter and the band has continued recently, with Guido producing with J-Ax the two platinum records 'Rap'n Roll' e 'Decadance'. The recording debut 'You Love The Styles'produced by the band itself, was a concentrate of sanguine rock, very American in its musical concept and lyrics in English. 'Newrante' is an equally powerful record, but with influences from dance culture and with all lyrics in Italian. The tour promoting the new work will depart on 15 October from Comothe area from which The Styles come.
