It will be three days, 14 to 16 Decemberdedicated to the Senegalese Community in Milan: you will discover the world of the Brotherhoods and their social function in the context of migration flows, we will discuss young people and second generations of their contribution to the social and economic development of our cities, their contribution to the development of cooperation paths with their places of origin, we will focus on the Senegalese women, heart and engine of the community.
Representatives of Lombardy and Senegalese institutions in Lombardy, sociologists, scholars, writers and artists: from the Deputy Mayor Maria Grazia Guida to the Consul General of Senegal in Milan Moukhtar Kouyate, by the writer Pap Khouma to Prof. Itala Vivanby sociologist Ali Baba Faye to the writer Cheikh Tidiane Gaye. And then the young Senegalese who in Milan and Lombardy society represent the true bridge between family culture and local context, in school, work, culture and art.
