Last February they set Milan ablaze (see photo) with one of the best concerts of the year, in a Rolling Stone packed for the occasion and an audience in love with music and those who play it divinely (see review of the concert in the NEWS area of this site).
One year on, the TOWER OF POWER return to Italy, this time to Rome for a single date at theAuditorium Parco della Musicathe 28 January.
Tower of Power, from the 1970s to the present day, and through various line-up changes that have never altered their spirit, have taken funk and black music to new heights. During their musical career, they have toured with such great artists as Sly Stone Creedence Clearwater Revival, Huey Lewis and News, and to this day, they boast fruitful collaborations with Aerosmith, Madonna, Smokey Robinson, Rod Steward and Dionne Warwick on compilations of various artists.
The line-up we will see in the capital on 29 January is the same spectacular one from 2008:
