I Deep Purple are about to start Wednesday from Gallarate (VA) their summer tour in Italy, consisting of eight dates including the 29 July at the Teatro Antico in Taormina which will see the five British musicians perform in the island's splendid monument for the first time.
Meanwhile, the supporters for the various dates have been confirmed: it will be PINO SCOTTOafter the successes already achieved with AC/DC and ZZ Top to take the stage in Gallarate on Wednesday 21.
Space then goes to young groups from the Barley stable: in Reggio Emilia we will find the funk of the Octopus, in Sogliano al Rubicone the rock of the Lastwhile in Pescara and Ostuni it will be the turn of the The Sun, on the rise thanks to the track “1972”.
