L'11 November at General Warehouses comes all the coolness and funky/pop energy that soundtracked the summer just past: SAM SPARROthe author of 'Black & Gold', will stop in Milanas part of his European tour.
The first single from his eponymous album led him to two nominations for the next European Music Award from Liverpool, in the 'best song' and 'best new artist' categories.
Sam is not only a multifaceted and talented musician who writes, performs, produces and arranges his own material, but he is also a 'crazysexycool' character. His style can be summed up as somewhere between Sam Sparro and London glam via Parisian fashionista Jean-Charles De Castelbajac: he is elegant but without being too serious. Following his artistic streak, Sam designs his own artwork, makes funny behind-the-scenes videos for YouTube and performs as a DJ at the occasional warehouse party. He also recently released a compilation, 'Songs Not Bombs', which contains a bit of everything from his own music to tracks by Snoop, Soul II Soul, Montell Jordan and MIA.
