The news, reported by Ansa and picked up by various newspapers, according to which the Queen musical 'We Will Rock You' will be performed on 28 January at the Casino di Campione, is false and seriously misleading the public.
Barley Arts, co-producer with Queen of the original musical, and sole holder of the rights to the performance and use of the name and format of "We Will Rock You - The Musical" by Queen & Ben Elton in Italy and Italian-speaking Switzerland, has already taken legal steps to warn those involved from spreading false and damaging information for both the public and the company.
In fact, the 'rock-opera' with all Queen's hits, the unique 'We Will Rock You - The Musical', with the songs, choreography, costumes, sound design, original sets, is on stage right now at the Creberg Theatre in Bergamo with the first shows of its second season in Italy and will be on tour from 3 February until May in the cities listed below: Turin (3 - 6 February Alfieri Theatre), Milan (11 -20 February Arcimboldi Theatre), Genoa (3-6 March '105 Stadium'), Bologna (10-13 March Paladozza), Trieste (17-20 March Rossetti Theatre), Florence (24-27 March Mandela Forum), Rome (31 March-3 April Grand Theatre), Padua (7-10 April Geox Theatre), Rimini (21-24 April '105 Stadium'), Naples (5-8 May Palapartenope) e Acireale (12-15 May Palasport).
Casino di Campione is not among the tour stops and is not staging the Queen musical 'We Will Rock You'. Any communication other than this is to be considered false and without foundation.
