The ice is the thread running through theIce Christmas Galathe great family show that will be staged Sunday 20 December 2009 at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan. International figure skating stars will dance on the ice accompanied by live music, played by a large 40-piece orchestra. For the first time in Italy, an incredible event, which in two hours combines the magic of live music, sporting tension and the grandeur of great Broadway-style productions.
The The combination of the spectacular nature of a prestigious ice dance event and the magic of live music reflects the essence of the organisers of the 2009 Ice Christmas Gala, namely Riptide e Barley Arts. To the former we owe the Golden Skate Awards which for three editions now bring the biggest stars of world ice skating to Italy. The second one this year celebrates 30 years of concertsfestivals and music events.
L'Ice Christmas Gala is a unique opportunity in Italy to attend a show on ice in grand style, combining music, sport, circus and the magic of Christmas in two hours of entertainment with strong international connotations. All in the setting of the city of Milan, projected towards the 2015 Expo. Tickets for the show will be available from Wednesday 4 November on the Ticketone circuit, both on the Internet and in local outlets.
