25/08/09: MR ZAMPAGLIONE, I PRESUME...MUSIC AND CINEMA IN LONDON FOR THE LEADER OF TIROMANCINO

Federico Zampaglioneleader and mastermind of Tiromancino, lands in London in the company of historic keyboardist Andrea Pescein art Fish. The acoustic duo, who have been on a hugely successful tour outside Italy since 19 May, will perform WEDNESDAY 26 AUGUST in the English capital at Dingwalls (www.dingwalls.com), a venue located in the heart of Camden, a legendary London borough.
The concert will not be the only overseas engagement for Federico Zampaglione, who on Friday 28 will present his new film 'Shadow' at the FrightFest Festival. It is a thriller-horror film with a strong visual impact and disturbing content, acted entirely by an international cast. The film has been highly praised by horror film legends such as Dario Argento, Lamberto Bava and Ruggero Deodato.
After his film debut with 'Nero Bifamilare', Federico Zampaglione returns with a horror film entirely written and directed by him.
Tiromancino's latest album is the 2008 live 'Il suono dei Chilometri', which was followed by a series of summer concerts that took them all over Italy last year. Federico boasts recent collaborations with several artists, including Fabri Fibra for the single 'Incomprensioni', a single that has been a hit on the radio. He also participated in the song 'Cos'è normale' by Zero Assoluto, included in the Roman duo's new album, and rearranged all the songs of 'Like never before', an album of covers all performed by his partner Claudia Gerini.
The tour started in Madrid on 19 May and Zampaglione was invited there by the Italian Chamber of Commerce to celebrate Republic Day.
