The Italian tour of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band is part of a 23-date European tour, which starts on 30 May in Landgraaf in the Netherlands and ends on 31 July in Benidorm in Spain.
As proof of the unparalleled alchemy that characterises these formidable musicians not only on stage but also in the studio, 'Working On A Dream' (on the Columbia/Sony Music label), Bruce Springsteen's new album, recorded again with the E Street Band during the breaks of the 2008 tour and containing 12 new tracks plus two bonus tracks, was released on 23 January.
"I hope," adds the Boss, "that Working on a Dream has managed to capture the energy expressed by the band after some of the most exciting shows we have ever done. All the songs were written in a very short time, we used almost all first recordings and we really enjoyed making this record from start to finish".
