10/27/10: BON JOVI RETURNS TO ITALY AFTER EIGHT YEARS: JULY 17TH - UDINE

As the 2010 tour of the Bon Joviwith dates in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, the American rock band announce a new European tour for summer 2011, which will finally include a concert in Italy, on 17 July 2011 at the Stadio Friuli in Udine, for which tickets will go on sale from Thursday 4 November.

 

I Bon Joviwho have been absent from our country since 2003, are about to release a Greatest Hits with an impressive setlist, which will be the guideline for the show expected next summer and organised in Italy by Barley Arts. Meanwhile, the band composed of Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Tico Torres e David Bryan has organised a series of special events for its fans to mark the last incredible year on the road.

 

First of all the 7 Novembera few days after the publication of the "Greatest Hits - Ultimate Collection (the 2 November with Universal Music), Bon Jovi will be at the EMA (MTV's European Music Awards) in Madrid, awarded as "Global Icon". A few days later, the 10 Novemberan exclusive cinema date is planned with "Bon Jovi - The Circle Tour"This is a testimony to the four sold-out concerts held last May at the new Meadowsland Stadium in New Jersey.

The "rockumentary", which will be broadcast in Italian cinemas by Digima (the complete list can be found on digimaonline.com), captures the magic and energy that the band unleashes live through four legendary evenings, when 200,000 fans gathered on Bon Jovi's native soil to celebrate with them the inauguration of the new stadium built in New Jersey after the closure of the old Giant Stadium (sanctioned in October 2009, not coincidentally, with seven concerts by the rock legend par excellence, Bruce Springsteen).

Always 10 November (but in Italy it will already be the night of the 11th) in New York another event: Bon Jovi will be holding an concert at the 'Best Buy Theatre' in Times SquareThis is a live event for a select few, but in several European countries it will be possible to watch via the web.
