Julian Casablancas, as he promised last October in the aftermath of the release of his first solo album, is coming to Italy with his band: his only stop is at the castle of Vigevano, as part of the '10 Giorni Suonati' festival.
Singer, leader and writer of all The Strokes' songs, Julian is the fourth member of the American band to embark on a solo project.
"Phrazes of the Young is already a hit in both Europe and the US, driven by the catchy single '11th Dimension', a light-hearted and danceable track, made unmistakable by the timbre of Julian's voice, the main trademark of The Strokes.
On tour with Casblancas we will find his full band, the same one with which he made his debut in late 2009 in Tokyo: Jeff Kite (keyboards), Nelson London (synth), JP Bowersock (guitar), Danielle Haim (percussion), Alex carapetis (drums).
Julian is currently touring the United States, which he traversed far and wide this spring.
The last time The Strokes visited Italy was in 2006 at Traffic in Turin, on the occasion of the tour of their latest album 'First Impression on Earth': Julian has been missing from our country since then and the many Strokes fans will not miss the chance to meet their favourite.
Opening the evening will be two exceptional 'special guests' from the UK: GIRLS and GOLDHEART ASSEMBLY.
