3/12/10: DEEP PURPLE LIVE WITH ORCHESTRA - 18 JULY 2011 AT THE VERONA ARENA

DEEP PURPLE with the Orchestraa relationship that has lasted since 1969, since the British band recorded the memorable 'Concerto for Group and Orchestra', one of the very first and most imitated experiments in the contamination of rock and classical music. More than forty years after that first time, DEEP PURPLE are dusting off the magic formula with a forty-eight-piece orchestra: only one date in Italy, on 18 July 2011, in a location that makes it all the more fascinating, the Arena di Verona.

The hard rock band's last 'symphonic' tour dates back to 2000, when they also came to Italy for a memorable date at the Forum di Assago, in the company of the unforgettable Ronnie James Dio as special guest, who passed away only a few months ago.
