After the concert last 22 June at Colonia Sonora in Turin, Chino and Co. announce two Italian dates as part of their European indoor tour. They will be in Rome on 5 December and the following day in Trezzo, in the province of Milan.
The ticket price is 30 Euro for each of the two dates, to which will be added 1 Euro (net of statutory contributions) that will be donated to the Chi Ling Special Need Trust (www.oneloveforchi.com), the foundation set up to support Chi, the band's bass player, who has been in a coma for over two years following a serious car accident.
The Deftones' latest album is 'Diamond Eyes'which was released last May and confirms them as a splendid reality of the worldwide alternative scene, with their unmistakable sound, at the same time consistent, modern and always innovative.
Last June in Turin, we saw and listened to a band in a true state of grace who, 15 years after their debut, demonstrate impressive artistic growth.
The rants of the early days 'Adrenaline' and 'Around the Fur'. are increasingly accompanied by the sick and dreamy melodies of their latest studio work. 'Diamond Eyes' is perhaps the most inspired work in this respect, a perfect marriage of energy and melody.
