She has crossed Italy from North to South with her summer tour and is now ready to visit the Italian public again. Guitarist and author appreciated all over the world, Kaki King will perform in two locations ideal for his unmistakable acoustic sound. It will in fact be at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome on 13 March and at the Milan Conservatory on 14 March.
Born in New York in 1979 and moved to Atlanta at a young age, Katherine Elizabeth King, this is his real name, has shown since childhood an immense talent for playing the guitar and composing music. After his debut album 'Everybody loves you' and the successor 'Legs to make us longer'His fame grew, with him performing on David Letterman's Late Night Show and opening for several artists, including Marianne Faithful and David Byrne. In 2008, she released 'Dreaming of Revange' and the following year the dates held in Italy to promote it sold out. In July Kaki King has returned to the Bel Paese with four dates in which she was received with great warmth and enthusiasm, confirming that she is increasingly appreciated in Europe. Seeing her play live is a unique experience, all the more so considering the fact that she is the only woman in the history of music to have entered Guitar magazine's list of the fifty best guitarists of all time.
Kaki King has recently finished working on Mexican Teenagers', the fourth album of his career, due for release in the coming months.
