4/11/09: HARDCORE SUPERSTAR TOUR KICKS OFF

After the preview offered last 21 June at the Lustando Festval, the HARDCORE SUPERSTAR bring the 'Beg for it Tour' in Italy with four autumn dates.

From 4 to 7 November, Europe's most famous glam metal band will play in Rome, Milan, Roncade (TV) and Bologna respectively.
A great opportunity for many fans to make a smashing combination: for those who show up at the D.A.D. concert on 9 November at the Music Drome in Milan with a ticket for one of HARDCORE SUPERSTAR's four Italian dates, the ticket for the Danish band's concert will cost 10 euros instead of 15.

At the Lustando Festival we saw a band in a state of grace, now fully at ease with the new line-up (guitarist Vic Zino took over from the resigning Thomas Silver during the 2008 tour).

We are in Sweden in 1997 when Joakim Berg (voice), Thomas Silver (guitar), Martin Sandvick (bass) and Mik Vaino (drums), who were later succeeded by Magnum Andreasson, give rise to the Hardcore Superstar, hard rock band with glam and sleaze metal influences. The debut album, 'It's Only Rock'n'Roll' They were a hit in Sweden and Japan and from there began their climb to success throughout Europe, which also led them to open dates for AC/DC, Aerosmith and Motörhead. Within just seven years, they released five albums and went on to play in the United States. During this time, there were also rumours of a break-up, which was later denied by the facts: the band continued to produce albums and toured all over Europe. The only split occurred in 2008 with the departure of guitarist Thomas Silver, who was replaced by Vic Zino of Crazy Lixx. Now the band is on tour supporting 'Beg for it', released on 5 June, successor of 'Dreamin' in a Casket'. The latter was presented last year with no less than five dates in Italy, a country that has always been very dear to the band, as evidenced by the four stages also planned for the 'Beg for It Tour'.
