9/7/08: MILAN IS TINGED WITH BLUES WITH JOHN MAYALL

Accompanied as usual by his band, The Bluesbreakers, John Mayall landed in Italy yesterday for the first of three concerts in our country. After the stop in Ferrara, tonight the blues icon will be on stage at Idroscalo di Milan.
After last year's summer tour, where Mayall & The Bluesbreakers once again gave a great lesson in rock/blues, the return to Milan was greeted with great enthusiasm by many Italian bluesmen, among them Fabio Treves, the 'puma of Lambrate', a great admirer of the 'lion of Manchester' (Mayall).
With the 72-year-old will take the stage to celebrate 43 years of career Buddy Whittington (guitar), Joe Yuele (drums) and Hank van Sickle (low).
As usual, John Mayall we will find him on vocals, guitar and harmonica.
Tonight's concert will start at 9 p.m., admission free.
The Italian tour continues tomorrow in Lancianohere are the details:
