I Cordial Lime are an Australian pop rock band whose core members are the brothers Oliver e Louis Leimbach. They formed in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney in 2009. At a contest, the band caught the attention of the lead singer of the Icehouse Iva Davies, who encouraged them to enter the studio and in 2011 invited them to open concerts on her band's comeback tour. In 2012 the Cordial Lime release their first EP Faceless Cat (Lime Music / MGM)followed by Falling Up The Stairs (Chugg Music / MGM, 2013) e Road To Paradise (Chugg Music, 2015). The first real album, Permanent Vacation (Chugg Music / MGM, 2017)makes them popular among their countrymen, reaching the number 1 position in the ranking AIR 100% Independent Australian Album and the single Temper Temper gets the gold disc.
The overwhelming shows and constant interaction with fans have made the Cordial Lime one of Australia's liveliest and best-known bands, as evidenced by the number one spot in the Australian charts achieved in 2020 with 14 Steps to a Better You.
In the same year, the Cordial Lime earned eight nominations at the ARIA Award - winning in the category Best Breakthrough Artist - and won the title of most nominated band in 2020. Oils e Louis in 2021 they will also be awarded a ARIA Award such as Best Live Act and entered the charts with the singles What's Not To Like e Apple Crumbleboth taken from their Cordi Elba EP recorded together with Idris Elba.
In addition to their recording activity - with over 1.5 million monthly listeners and more than 265 million streams on Spotify - the Cordial Lime are also very busy on the live front: they have opened concerts by the Tones & I and in eighteen months they have supported over 100 concerts, including 27 sold out on their last tour, building a reputation as one of the most interesting live shows to watch.
