Still no The echo of last June's two sold-out concerts has died down, and Blue confirm their return to Italy, for three more concerts: they will be on 21 November at Milan's Alcatraz, on the 22nd at Rome's Atlantico Live and on the 23rd at the Supersonic Music Arena in San Biagio di Callalta, in the province of Treviso.Tickets are on sale from Wednesday 24 July on the Ticketone circuit (website www.ticketone.it and sales outlets in the area) and to follow on other circuits and authorised sales outlets throughout Italy.
I Blue, with over fifteen million copies sold and three chart-topping albums worldwide (All Rise, One Love, Guilty), having played live all over the world and duetted with the likes of Elton John and Stevie Wonder, thirteen years after their debut they are a band that can count on solid artistic experience and an equally solid friendship between its four members: Lee Ryan, Antony Costa, Duncan James and Simon Webbe. When, in 2005, each of them decided to take a break from the band to devote themselves to other personal interests - from TV careers to solo records, forays into musicals or business - the bond was not broken, however, and the call of the fans and the opportunity to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 were enough for the band to regain the energy and enthusiasm of the early days, but with the maturity and charisma of adult artists.
After that experience, Blue immediately set to work on their fourth studio album, finding in the award-winning RedOneformer collaborator of Lady Gaga, Pitbull e Jennifer Lopezand in the duo Wayne Hector & Cutfather (Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls, James Morrison, Nicki Minaj) producers capable of enhancing the evolution of their signature style of pop ballads and energetic songs. The result is Roulette, released in Italy on 1 February 2013 (on the Universal label), an album that in 13 tracks - 15 for the deluxe edition - best expresses who Blue are today. As already the album, anticipated by the single Hurt Lovers, which was followed by Without You, the stage also shows that the former boyband, born in the late 1990s, has been able to keep intact the trademark that brought them worldwide success, becoming a great band made up of charismatic performers and excellent composers of pop songs destined to strike at first listen.
