THE GOOSE FESTIVAL

To greet the arrival of summer, the Creative Workshops Ansaldo invite the city of Milan to the "Sagra dell'Oca' (Goose Festival), three days of shows, exhibitions, music, workshops, meetings, performances and various cultural, social and recreational activities.
From Friday 21 to Sunday 23 June, the Sagra dell'Oca features more than 30 different events ranging from theatre in all its forms (monologues, essays, improvisation, juggling) to the live music, from exhibitions of photography and multimedia art at guided tours to the neighbourhood, from improvisations writers' paintings to the performances of dance swingand of dance African, from activities designed for socialising at all ages with the Radix association to entertainment for children with the Accademia del Gioco Dimenticato (Academy of Forgotten Games), to the yoga festival of the Karma Music Night and the Night of the Distracted, for a varied programme full of content and surprises. Among the many, the staging of "I Ragazzi della Via Stendhal", by and with Pietruccio Montalbetti, the historic voice and guitarist of Dik Dik, in this case author and performer of a show between words and music, anecdotes and stories from his youth by an artist born and raised in the area where the former Ansaldo is located.
All the initiatives are organised with the active involvement of resident associations that work permanently at the Oca (Zorba, TomBon, The Bakery, Zaza, Ideas), some associations that have already been active here during the 6 months of experimental management byBarley Arts together with the Municipality of Milan (among them the Distracted, Yoga Festival, The Fine Arts), several new realities that had not yet found a place in the programming (Not Just Charleston, Radix, several Milanese theatre associations) and the Zone 6 Councilwhich has territorial jurisdiction over the large Navigli Tortona district on which the Officine Creative Ansaldo stands. In particular, they are linked to the initiatives and exhibitions of various cultural bodies and associations that promote the preservation of the memory of the area and the building. These include Humanitarian, Lab MuseumThe school adopts a monument', the project curated by theLiceo Vittorinias well as a representation of the Sinigaglia Fair with its typical stalls.
As with any self-respecting festival, there will be no shortage of food stands with quality, genuine, simple and tasteful products for all palates and pockets.
On Friday 21 June, from the afternoon until late at night, and then on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. onwards, the Oca opens its spaces to a party for the city and the citizens of Milan.

Friday 21 June from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m:
- KARMA MUSIC NIGHT - an evening of wellbeing and fun with Laughter Yoga, Happy Tai Chi, Mantra Sinsing, Bollywood Dance and free massages. from 18.00 SPAZIO PALCO

- SHIM SHAM - the guys from Nonsolocharleston will lead and dance an internationally famous choreography called Shim Sham, famous in the world of Swingers. Followed by free dance with the involvement of the audience in the style of the 20s-30s-50s SPAZIO AGORA'

- CAPITAN PULCINELLA - a travelling theatre show by and with Roberto Galluccio about an unusual Punchinello who decides to change his life.
