After yesterday's announcement of the first concerts in Great Britain, and after the long night on Facebook, for BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E-STREET BAND comes the long-awaited confirmation of the tour in Italy in the summer of 2012: there are no less than three dates, on 7 June at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, on the 10th at the Stadio Franchi in Florence, and on the 11th at the Stadio Nereo Rocco in Trieste.
The tickets for the three concerts, organised by Claudio Trotta's Barley Arts, will be made available at two different times: in fact the pre-sale for the Sansiro show will open on Thursday 24 November at 4 p.m., only on the Ticketone.it website, and the following day in the points of sale throughout the territory. With the same dynamic, but from Thursday 1 December, tickets for the Florence and Trieste concerts will go on sale. It will be possible to purchase a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction.
Bruce Springsteen returns to play at the San Siro Stadium Four years after 25 June 2008, when a legendary concert, with a surprise ending in front of 60,000 delirious fans, led to accusations and lawsuits against promoter Claudio Trotta, who was finally acquitted last July of all charges of disturbing the public peace in Milan because Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, acclaimed by the audience at Sansiro, had responded with 22 minutes of encores 'too many'. In 2009, Bruce returned to Italy, again with the E Street Band, to play in Turin, Rome and Udine.
Now the confirmation of the tour, which will see Bruce Springsteen perform in Milan, Florence and Trieste, is greeted with particular satisfaction by Trotta, who says: 'I thank the Mayor of Florence Matteo Renzi and the Mayor of Trieste Roberto Cosolini, together with the Councillor for Productive Activities of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Federica Seganti, for their collaboration, who from the very first moment have been active with the utmost cooperation and an active will to bring an event of such magnitude to their citizens'.
