IMMANUEL CASTO ON TOUR: THE FIRST DATES OF 'CASTO DIVO' UNVEILED

After the announcement of the collaboration with Barley Arts, the first highly anticipated dates of the most provocative tour of the year have finally been revealed

Immanuel Casto's 'Killer Star Tour' will start on 9 December from the New Age in Treviso, the first organised by Barley Arts for the author of the edgiest songs on the web, from the early days of 'Anal Beat' and '50Bocca100amore' to the recent 'Crash' and 'Escort 25'.

The next dates confirmed so far will take him to perform in major Italian citieswill in fact be the 14 in Rome, 16 in Bologna, then 17 in Turin and 23 December in Milan for the grand finale that promises to be the secular Christmas of its believers. The calendar will soon be updated with new concerts, but the dates in the big centres are already set and the fans of the 'Casto Divo', as he is nicknamed, are anxiously waiting.
Immanuel Casto is one of the most glamorous independent artists of recent years; he considers himself the inventor of the 'Porn Groove', a musical genre that blends 80s electro-pop under lyrics that delve deep into the diverse world of sex, described with irony and elegance.Immanuel Casto recently hit the shops and digital shops with his first album "Adult Music' (JLe/Universal).
His fans attend his concerts with unparalleled enthusiasm, registering 'sold out' in every corner of Italy, and the Casto Divo responds to his audience's call every time with provocative shows made up of music and top-notch choreography.
For the 'Killer Star Tour' Immanuel promises to go beyond everything he has done so far: new arrangements, a new set, new energy. On stage with him will be the Beat Girls (dancers and backing vocalists), Keen on guitar/synth and new keyboardist Unison.
The tour is named after the new single 'Killer Star' (the fourth extract from the album 'Adult Music"), accompanied by an accusatory and outspoken video that launches a cry against the media that spectacularise murderous madness: strong images and words that leave no escape. Immanuel Casto enunciates in the text the names of the protagonists of the notorious crime stories, while in the images he even allows himself a Madonna tribute, all to be discovered.
The video clip will premiere on Monday 12 September on Wired.co.uk.
