JACK JOHNSON CLOSES THE SECOND EDITION OF 10 DAYS PLAYED - A POSITIVE BALANCE SHEET

With the Sunday 24 July concerts of Jack Johnson and Kaki King curtain falls on the second edition of the '10 Days of Music at Vigevano Castle'.:
Sixteen artists took turns on stage from 26 June to 24 July over the seven days of the 'billboard', eighteen up-and-coming bands on the two evenings dedicated to the QN contest and 'Edison change the Music', not forgetting the seven writers for the aperitif with the author.
The more than 20,000 people who came to Vigevano over the course of the event are testament to the growth of this festival, now in its second year and set to create a new trend in entertainment.
"10 Giorni Suonati 2011" was not only musical or literary culture, but also food and wine and ecological culture, thanks to quality catering and the ARIA project.

Claudio Trotta, creator of the exhibition, tells us about his feelings at the end of this month-long adventure:

"Another day is gone/its music over/how much time has now passed and will pass..."
I really loved Ten Days of Music this year, and I owe this feeling to my loving Barley Arts staff and our freelance collaborators, to my son Federico and his wonderful short supply chain 'good food' boys, to all the extraordinary artists who played, and to the writers who talked about their art (my personal highlights were The Black Crowes, The Cyborgs, I Ragazzi Del Giubocs, Jack Johnson, Alessandro Bertrante and Alan D Altieri). The most heartfelt thanks to the extraordinary audience of around 20,000 people, including those of the two free QN and Edison Change the Music contests, who showed their enjoyment and presence by taking part in a party... 'our party' and not just 'masses', as concerts have often become. a bit of a romantic and still willing to do and be, not just to perform and appear.
For 2012 we will be back in full swing and I believe with some pleasant news...Have a little faith in (us):-)))))
