They are the headliners of Flippaut Alternative Reload, the festival that, from the Concert Arena of the Milan Fairground in Rho, now moves to the Castle of Vigevano. The appointment remains set for Tuesday 12 July. The New York band has been missing from Italy for a good five years, ever since they arrived in Turin during the 'First Impression of Earth' tour, playing in front of more than fifty thousand people. The FLIPPAUT ALTERNATIVE RELOAD is the alternative rock answer to the FLIPPAUT DANCE RELOAD staged on 4 June at the Fair. In this case, however, Barley Artsorganiser of both appointments, deemed the location of the Vigevano Castle, where the '10 Giorni Suonati' festival is already held, more suitable for the event. Tickets purchased for Flippaut Alternative at the Milan Fairgrounds remain valid for Vigevano Castle, with no need for replacement.
The 12 July will be the only Italian stop for The Strokes. Already confirmed is the band that will play before Casablancas and co.: the CHROMEOan authentic exclusive for this Festival, for the first time in Italy. In addition to them the VERDENA, absolute protagonists of the alternative scene in the year of their consecration; The GLASVEGAS, who return to play in the Bel Paese after the Milan showcase last March, and DAN BLACK, making his solo debut after having closed, at least temporarily, his interludes with Planet Funk and The Servant.
