We start this news with the words of the refrain of 'Minerva', one of the Sacramento band's most acclaimed tracks last night at Alcatraz in Milan. An intense, tight show, a band in great shape and a Chino Moreno absolute protagonist as always. Three thousand fans crowded Alcatraz to see the Deftonesreturning to Italy as a headliner after four years.
It's up to the Will Haven warming up the crowd. It is a pleasure to see this American band, formerly supporting the Deftones on the 'Around the Fur' tour. A compact 30-minute set in which they gave ample proof that they have not lost that hardcore streak that made them stand out some ten years ago.
At 9.15pm, the highly acclaimed Deftones take the stage.
It starts with Korea'from the album WHITE PONY, as well as 'Fieticeria' e 'Digital Bath'. Between old songs and new tracks from the latest 'Saturday Night Wrist'the concert grows in intensity minute by minute. Breathtaking close with 'Bored', 'Minerva', 'Back to School', 'Change' e '7 Words'.
