The video of "Goddess Music"Piero Pelù's new single, which has been on the radio for a few days, will be in rotation from today exclusively on MTV. The director of the video, Giangi Magnoni, was directly inspired by François Truffaut's famous film "Fahrenheit 451' in which they envisage a society in which reading is banned and controlled by an army in charge of destroying books and arresting those in possession of them. In the video, reading is replaced by music. Two young men meet furtively in a working-class neighbourhood, the 'clandestine divulger' pulls out an old audio tape, their eyes meet and they suddenly realise they are being seen and chased by the cops, frightened they turn their gaze away and walk away. One of them manages to reach his flat, from a box he pulls out some wires and some old speakers and plugs them in to listen to music. The policemen discover him, search the flat, seize and burn everything that is music: vinyls, audio cassettes, original CDs. The clandestine popularizer is stopped and arrested. Piero Pelù, in parallel with everything around him, continues his live performance with the Supercombo: nothing can hinder his love for music...
