JOE BONAMASSA pays homage to the greats of the English blues: appointment on 14 July in Piazzola sul Brenta!

A few days before the release of his new album "Blues Of Desperation" (Mascot - Provogue), Joe Bonamassa announces a special evening to pay tribute to some of the best British blues rock guitarists, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck e Jimmy Page. The show "Joe Bonamassa in Concert: A Salute to the British Blues Explosion". will be held Thursday 14 July 2016 at Postepay Sound in Piazzola sul Brenta (PD). The love of Bonamassa for the English blues is the basis of his musical inspiration: "If it had not been for certain English musicians of the early 1960s, the blues would never have evolved into the rock music we know today," he said Bonamassawhich has been hugely influenced by sacred monsters such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck e Jimmy Pageall three grew up in the hothouse of talent that was the Yardbirds and then rose to planetary fame thanks to their creatures: Cream, Led Zeppelin e Jeff Beck Group.

On 19 February Joe Bonamassa has published "Drive"the first single from his latest album "Blues Of Desperation", scheduled for release on 25 March. This new work is yet another milestone in the recording career of the singer-songwriter and guitarist, who continues his work of redefining the genre. "I would like people to hear my evolution as a blues-rock musician who doesn't stop at achievements, but tries to push the envelope and think about how music can evolve while remaining interesting," he says.
