Second Italian date for STU LARSEN, 2 August in Rome!

The folk singer-songwriter Stu Larsen adds a new date in Italy: Tuesday 2 August 2016 will be at the Monk Club in Rome for a free concert in addition to the already announced concert of Wednesday 3 August at Carroponte di Sesto San Giovanni (MI).

He grew up in the small town of Dalby, a three-hour drive from Brisbane, Stu Larsen began playing the guitar at the age of 14 at the behest of his mother, who considered music an excellent means to help the boy overcome shyness. The strategy is successful and on the last day of high school Larsen performed for the first time in front of an audience of over a thousand people. A few years later, Larsen moves to Toowoomba, where he starts performing solo and wins a contest. This further confirmation gives him the courage to embark on the life of the perpetually travelling musician.

After several self-produced works, including an EP with Japanese harmonica player Natsuki Kurai (2013), 'Vagabond' (Nettwerk Records/Warner, 2014), released last summer, constitutes the debut of Larsen on a record label. For the occasion, the singer-songwriter availed himself of an exceptional collaboration: the album is in fact produced by his friend and colleague Passenger, born Mike Rosenberg, rising star of indie with folk veins whose Larsen has often opened concerts in the last three years.
