With his intense virtuosity and truly unique style, he arrives in Italy Miles Mosley for three dates to present his new record project, Uprising. The double bass player, considered one of the best in the world, will be Monday 10 April at Serraglio in Milan, Tuesday 11 April at Locomotiv Club in Bologna and Wednesday 12 April at Monk in Rome. Miles Mosley peaked this year with the magnetic force of his new single Abrahamwhich has captured the attention of press and critics in a very short time. In recent years, the virtuoso double bass player from Los Angeles has reached major professional heights and his new album, Uprising, due out at the end of January on Alpha Pup Records, is highly anticipated. The newly released single, Young Lion, bursts forth with great energy, with a propulsive rhythm section and a tasteful lyrical form. A perfect start to Uprising encompassing a wide range of dynamics, genres and forms of expression within the same album. Mosley Thus, he synthesises his for songwriting with his innovative take on music and virtuosity to create an intimate work with melodies that people can easily hum and that go straight to the heart. It all swings and moves deftly between pop, jazz, blues, funk and soul.

In addition to his solo career and with his band, Mosley has played, recorded, produced and toured with the likes of Chris Cornell, Christina Aguilera, Sean King, Mos Def, India Arie, Lauryn Hill, Terrence Howard, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Jason Mraz, Jeff Beck, Rihanna, e Cee Lo Green. Described as the Jimi Hendrix of the double bass, Mosley recorded three tracks by To Pimp a Butterflyalbum that won a Grammy for Kendrick Lamarand is the bassist of The Epicthe album that made the fortune of Kamasi Washington.
