Country, Blues, Rock'n'Roll and Soul in one immense voice, that of a pure artist, defined by many as the intimate version of Eddie Vedder and Bruce Springsteen, able to tell of myths, delinquents, drunks and war veterans without ever losing an ounce of intensity. Jake Smithaccompanied by his band will be in Italy to present the new album Darkest Darks, Lightest Lightsreleased last October. A record that was born from a real inner urgency, from the need to express oneself and, for the first time, Jake Smith decides to record with almost no music already composed, and for him, who thrives on his greatest songwriting skills and incredible voice, it's a major breakthrough. With just a few ideas in his head, all of White Buffalo's instincts were poured into the studio in an album full of contrasts, with 10 tracks that form one of the band's richest collections stylistically.
The White Buffalo was fresh from the previous success of Love and The Death Of Damnation and the incredible public and critical acclaim it has gained over time through reinterpretations of House of The Rising Sun and other great musical classics. Smith's compositions have also been chosen as soundtracks for Sons Of Anarchy and Californication.
