For its Lombardy date, the trio will have in support the singer-songwriter Carus Thompsonone of the leading exponents of the Australian roots music. With almost twenty years of career behind him, the musician has a solid fan base and successful, energetic and engaging shows. Carus Thompson adds of the rock'n'roll to his folk singer-songwritermaking his style and approach to music unique.
The John Butler Trio is currently on tour through Australia and New Zealand in March and April, arriving once again in Europe and our country in early summer. Acclaimed for their brilliant live performances and superb musicianship, the trio is one of the most successful Australian ensembles on the current world music scene. Their latest album, entitled Home (Jarrah Records, 2018), released on 28 September, is a very personal creation of songs reflecting everyday thoughts, family and travel, has rhythms industrialand an electric soul.
