For fans of the vintage guitar rock this will be an unmissable event, in which Eric Steckel will be able to present his most successful album, Polyphonic Prayer (Not On Label Records, 2018) which sees him playing a leading role behind every instrument. In addition to being recognised as a virtuoso guitarist, the musician also demonstrates his mastery on the piano, organ and bass in the album. The album's sounds are traditional, with an absolute rejection of modern technology, and a return to the blues e rock of the 1970s.
The 29-year-old Eric Steckel is considered one of the musicians blues most virtuosic: he has played in 25 countries, enjoying great success in each of them thanks to his passion and energy on stage. At only 11 years old, he recorded his first live album, A Few Degrees Warmer (Muttlee Records, 2002). In 2003 he participated in the Sarasota Blues Festival where he is introduced by the legend of blues/rock John Mayall as the youngest guitarist ever to take the stage with the Bluesbreakersthe same ones that took him on tour to Sweden, Norway and Denmark. In the years to follow, Eric Steckel has performed at numerous festivals around the world, including the prestigious Pistoia Blues FestivalIn the process, he recorded several critically acclaimed albums. Among these are Havana (Me and My Blues Records, 2006)famous among blues enthusiasts, and Feels Like Home (Me and My Blues Records, 2008), with the collaboration of Duane Trucks on percussion. In 2012 the studio album. Dismantle The Sun (Not On Label Records)while Black Gold (Not On Label Records)recorded between Nashville, Tennessee and Amsterdam, arrives in the 2015, after a major team effort involving the best known producers and musicians from Steckel. In spite of his young age, the musician boasts 20 years of experience on international stages and in recording studios, making him one of the most popular artists among blues and guitar enthusiasts, to the extent that he has been featured in numerous prestigious trade magazines, such as Top Guitar Magazine, Guitar World Magazine, Classic Rock Magazinee Blues Rock Review Magazine.
