Great news for fans of the Clannad: from today, those who already have a ticket for the concert of Tuesday 17 May 2022 at Phenomenon in Fontaneto d'Agogna (NO) can purchase a special upgrade which includes the chance to meet the band on the day of the concert and an autographed tour programme.
The Meet & Greet upgrade is available exclusively on Ticketone and must necessarily be combined with a concert ticket purchased on the same circuit or on Ciaotickets because alone does not constitute a qualificationvalid.
I Clannad (name derived from the word family in Gaelic) were formed in 1970 from the union of the brothers Moya, Ciarán e Pól Brennan with uncles Noel e Pádraig Duggan (sadly missed in 2016), for a time accompanied by Enya Brennan who went on to have a very successful solo career. The award-winning band brought Irish music and language to a worldwide audience, fusing elements of traditional music with contemporary folk, new age and rock.
During their long career, the Clannad have collaborated with artists such as Bruce Hornsby, Steve Perry, JD Souther, Paul Young e Duke Specialin addition, of course, to Bono of U2with whom in 1985 they recorded the title single of the anthology In a Lifetime.
May's will be theonly Italian date by In A Lifetime - The Farewell Tourthe last chance for fans to see the historic Irish line-up live.
