The executive producer Cristina Trottawho just this year worked with Barley Arts to the two grandiose sold-out shows of Queen + Adam Lambert at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno, declares: "After three years of forced standstill, we are finally happy to return to producing the most extraordinary and internationally acclaimed rock theatre show. Barley's successful liaison with Queen and their world continues."
The announcement of the musical theatre show's 2023 season has aroused great interest in recent weeks among audiences, who are looking forward to filling the theatres again to see - and hear! - the story of Galileo e Scaramouche. The renewed cast of the new edition of We Will Rock You is finally ready to take to the stages of some of Italy's leading theatres (and beyond) to share the tale of Hope, the redeeming power of Rock and Roll, sharing and the right to express oneself.
Says Michaela Berliniwho confirms himself as the director of this new edition no reply: "We Will Rock You is a powerful show, always in step with the times, for the story it brings to the stage, for its characters, for the dynamics that bind them and for the extraordinary, engaging and timeless songs of Queen. To be able to put our hands on the characters again, to explore their frustrations, their dreams and their will to fight for a better future is simply exciting work and also a great exercise in understanding and criticising the Society in which we live."
Gail Richardson, choreographer of the show, talks about the new features coming with the next season: "I am very excited to start this edition of We Will Rock You. I will make some changes to the choreography that will raise the energy of the danced numbers even higher, making the show even more dynamic and exciting. The new ensemble is ready and I can't wait to overwhelm you."
