The Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd will be in concert in our country this summer for three unmissable dates: Thursday 25 July to theVittoriale Amphitheatre by Gardone Riviera (BS),Friday 26 July at Roman Theatre by Fiesole (FI) e Sunday 28 July a Monforte d'Alba (CN) on the occasion of the concert series in the Piedmont hills Monfortinjazz.
Opening his European concerts, including the Italian stages, will be the musician Tay Oskee. The artist, also from Australia, has just released his latest single, entitled Black SmokeA seductive call of melodies that create deep connections with nature and tropical rhythms, provided by instruments such as the banjo and the harmonica. The secret ingredient of Tay Oskee is simplicity, nothing else makes a piece more fascinating.
Xavier Rudd published a new version on 25 April Summer Mix of the single that gives its name to its latest record, Storm Boy (Salt. X Records Ltd., 2018)released last year. This album contains all of Xavier's experiences in its tracks, as if it were a musical postcard of his life: the record celebrates the strength and power of man as he connects with nature. Xavier Ruddabout this, he said: "Writing music and living my life are the same thing! I sing about the things that happen around me." In all the lyrics of his songs one can read the musician's passion for the Australian cultureXavier has never renounced the power of nature and the power it generates. In his live performances, the artist stages the atmospheres of his land in a show that has enchanted and still enchants.
