AC/DC, after the press conference in Reggio Emilia here's the map and all the info for the concert of the year!

The wait is over! The only Italian stage of the legendary AC/DC, sold out in a few hours with 100,000 tickets sold, will take place on Saturday 25 May 2024 at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, with The Pretty Reckless as the opening band.

At the Tecnopolo conference room, inside the Le Reggiane complex in Reggio Emilia, an articulate and comprehensive official press conference was just held to present the services for the public and the concert production, in the presence of Claudio Trotta (Barley Arts) and Roberto Olivi (president Coopservice, main investor CVolo Spa), the mayor of Reggio Emilia Luca Vecchi which represented the greetings of the City, of executive producer Cristina Trotta (Barley Arts) who comprehensively explained the rules and roles behind a mass event of this magnitude, Andrea De Matteo (Barley Arts) production manager which communicated some of the numbers of companies and people involved, the Dr Furio Zucco, health consultant by Barley Artswho described the meticulous attention to the health plan by introducing the representatives of 118 and the Red Cross, and the Local Police Commander Dr. Poma who highlighted the City's initiatives with regard to traffic and parking for the 100,000 people who will arrive from all over Italy and many European countries, without forgetting respect for residents. Everything is ready for the appointment with a new and important chapter in the history of live music in Italy.

At the end of the Conference Claudio Trotta he said:

"Happy to contribute to the creation and realisation of a collective experience of well-being and joy. The extraordinary longevity and uniqueness of AC/DC, with whom I have been working exclusively in Italy since September 1991, inspires us to raise the bar once again in terms of attention and attention to detail in an effort to ensure a memorable overall experience for the audience.

It will be very important to get to the venue well in advance considering the large number of travellers on Italian motorways and the all-Italian characteristic of paying on exit at motorway toll booths, which already generates queues at weekends and during the summer season.

On 25 May, all of us concert organisers and producers, managers of the RCF Arena, institutions, service providers, and workers, together with the artists and the audience, will contribute to maintaining the high 'rating' of Emilia Romagna, a region that has been instrumental in the development of live music in Italy for at least 40 years.

I hope to see few mobile phones in operation during the concert because they distract from the reality and truth of the live show and because they take away magic from the brightness of the stage and annoy those behind or beside those using them."

The President of Coopservice Olivi emphasised that: "The AC/DC concert at the RCF Arena represents an extraordinary opportunity for the Reggio Emilia infrastructure, which thanks to international events of this magnitude has the possibility of becoming one of the most important venues in Europe. An event that we are about to experience thanks to Barley Arts, who chose our location for the first time and who, by virtue of their acknowledged organisational capacity and a proven network of international collaborations, are working to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, so as to guarantee the public a unique and unforgettable experience. For this reason I would like to thank, in addition to Barley Arts and AC/DC, also institutions, associations and all the local partners who are working to achieve these goals, driven as we are by passion for music and love for our city."

The AC/DC have recently released the first photos of the touring line-up: Angus Young on lead guitar, Brian Johnson under the heading, Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, Chris Chaney bass and Matt Laug to the battery.
