AC/DC announce their long-awaited live return to Italy on 9 July, with a unique, unmissable concert in our country (organised by Barley Arts), during which they will set Imola's 'Enzo and Dino Ferrari' International Autodrome on fire with their energy and unmistakable riffs. The legendary world rock band will be the protagonist of the biggest open-air event of summer 2015 dedicated to a unique international artist, in a historic location for live music in Italy.
Pre-sales for the AC/DC concert will start on Wednesday 17 December at 10 a.m., simultaneously online at www.ticketone.it and in the Vivaticket circuit sales outlets (complete list at www.vivaticket.it). The ticket price (single seat) is EUR 75 (plus EUR 11.25 pre-sale) and a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction will be available on both sales channels. There are no VIP packages, early entry or similar initiatives.
Imola is the only date in Italy of a world tour in which AC/DC will bring their greatest hits live and present for the first time live tracks from their latest unreleased album 'Rock Or Bust', topping the charts in Italy and around the world! It will also be the first tour without Malcolm Young, who recently left the band for health reasons. In his place is Stevie Young, grandson of founding members Angus and Malcolm Young, who played rhythm guitar in 'Rock or Bust' and will accompany the band on stage.
Released on 1 December, 'Rock Or Bust' contains 11 previously unreleased tracks and comes six years after 'Black Ice', a 2008 album that was a huge worldwide success. The album, recorded in the spring of 2014 at Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, produced by Brendan O'Brien and mixed by Mike Fraser, has received very positive reviews from all the world's press, who have already called it 'one of the high points reached by AC/DC in their very long and glorious career'.
The AC/DC concert in Imola represents for Barley Arts a great return to international rock gatherings in Emilia Romagna, a region where it has always brought great rock music, from the 1980s, with the historic Monsters of Rock festival, to the more recent Flippaut Rock Festival.
The event will take place in the Rivazza Paddockone of the greenest and most welcoming areas of the autodrome and, like all Barley events, will be characterised by the utmost attention to the thousands of fans who will flock there from all over Italy and Europe.
