ADAM CARPET: VIDEO OF 'BABY YAR' ON THE NET - FIRST CONFIRMED DATES

The official video for 'Babi Yar', the first single from the band Adam Carpet, has finally been released.. The video, accompanied by live mapping, is intended to be a small preview of what the live show will be, in which the new visual techniques will blend with the instrumental music of the five musicians.
"Babi Yar stems from the need to represent as realistically as possible what our concert will be like: an experience that combines the physical with the virtual," explains Diego Galeri (Timoria), one of the two drummers in the project together with Alessandro Deidda (Le Vibrazioni). Babi Yar's video, devised in collaboration with the guys from Akme (www.playakme.com) - who played a key role in defining the project - is thus also intended as an aid to understanding the mapping phenomenon, which is as great live as it is difficult to capture with images.
Adam Carpet was born in Milan from the union of top artists: Diego Galeri (Timoria, Miura), Alessandro Deidda (Le Vibrazioni, i Cosi), Edoardo 'Double t' Barbosa, Giovanni Calella (Kalweit and The Spokes) and the young Silvia Ottanà. "Having two drums and two basses was the consequence of careful research into sound. Our music is a flow, with a very strong instinctive component but with a decidedly modern approach'.
The band's first album will be officially released in early 2013.
Mapping - a projection technique that transforms any kind of geometric surface into a dynamic display, as in an interactive video game made of lights and images - has accompanied the intentions of the Adam Carpet project since the first video. Babi Yar's video, available from 22 October 2012, stems from the need to represent as realistically as possible - no post-production work has been carried out, with the exception of editing - what the Adam Carpet concert will be: an experience combining the physical and the virtual, accompanied by the hypnotic and evocative music of the five musicians.
