The psychedelic blues rock of Chris Robinson Brotherhood arrives in Italy for a single date: Monday 7 March 2016 at Fabrique in Milan fans will be able to enjoy a show of over two and a half hours of Robinson and members. Presales open on the circuit Ticketone.
The Chris Robinson Brotherhood is currently on tour to present his latest work, 'Phosphorescent Harvest' (Silver Arrow Records, 2014)for which the band enlisted the services of producer Thom Monahan (Vetiver, Beachwood Sparks, Devendra Banhart). The frontman Chris Robinson states: 'We have created a rock'n'roll record. The public can hear us to understand that the genre is alive and well'.
The band formed in 2011 and embarked on an intensive 50-show tour of California, but waited until 2012 to release two works in the space of a few months: in June "Big Moon Ritual and in September 'The Magic Door' (both for the Silver Arrow Records), which demonstrate the perfect blend of improvisation and sophisticated songwriting. Over the years, the quintet has further developed its identity as a psychedelic rock band thanks to extensive touring around the world, but this has not stemmed the band's creative vein.
At a time when many rely on fashions, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood believes in what can be called the values of yesteryear. Says the same Chris RobinsonWe don't make music to sell iPads.
