After last year's success in Milan, the Tedeschi Trucks Band expertly guided by Susan Tedeschi e Derek Trucks returns to Italy for two dates. The double dates, with two sets, are set for Wednesday 17 April at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan and Thursday 18 April at the Politeama Rossetti in Trieste. Since its formation in 2010, the Tedeschi Trucks Bandwith its 12 members, enjoys an excellent reputation and a reputation as one of the best live bands around today. Embracing improvisation beyond convention, the collective defies all genres and pushes themselves with enormous potential to explore any musical territory. Thus their repertoire includes original pieces and even music from different paths: from Miles Davis to George Jones, Joe Cocker to Nina Simone.
The guitar skills of Derek Trucks and the unmistakable voice of Susan Tedeschi shine, but they do not overshadow the incredible class of the first-class musicians with whom they share the stage. The ultimate live film/audio recording, Live From The Fox Oakland was appointed to the Grammys in 2018 and marks a point of no return in Susan and Derek's unstoppable journey.
