Andrew Stockdale and his WOLFMOTHER in Padua in July. Opening will be GIUDA!

The temperature of the Italian summer continues to rise: Friday 7 July Andrew Stockdale and its Wolfmother will be at the Parco della Musica in Padua for an event that promises to be unmissable, also thanks to the opening of the Italian Giuda! Le pre-sales will open on the Ticketone (online and points of sale) at 10 a.m. on Tuesday 21 March..

The Australian band, led by Andrew Stockdale, is touring these months to present their new studio work, Victorious (Universal Music, 2016). This is the fourth album by the Wolfmother, a mature-sounding work that perfectly reflects the band's stylistic figures and is enjoying great critical and popular success. The frontman Andrew Stockdale worked on the album in his recording studio in New South Wales, composing on all instruments and using the same creative approach he had already tried ten years ago with the band's debut album. "At first I would play guitar, bass and drums, then I would submit ideas to the rest of the band and we would work together on the arrangements," said the singer and guitarist, "I thought it would be nice to start playing everything again and fix my ideas on a demo. It's a good way of working, because you get a well-blended style".

In addition to singing on the new album, Stockdale recorded the guitar and bass tracks and was joined by drummers Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, Bruce Springsteen, A Perfect Circle) e Joey Waronker (Beck, Gnarls Barkley, REM)and the award-winning producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Bruce Springsteen). The result, in Stockdale's words, is definitely interesting: 'We wanted a full-bodied sound, balanced between garage energy and great production work. It's wild and energetic, perfect for a festival!".

I Giuda are a punk rock band with a distinct international attitude, a group of musicians united in life and on stage by a common passion for the analogue sound of the seventies, but who have perfectly focused on the modern sound that is now their unmistakable trademark, with the smell of live performance that you breathe in the studio, but that you only fully understand when you attend one of their shows.
