The hard rock wave of Nashville Pussy arrives in Italy next Wednesday 11 January at Legend Club in Milan. I tickets for the concert will be available on the circuit Ticketone from 11am on Wednesday 5 October.
US hard rock band, the Nashville Pussy were born in 1996 from an idea of guitarist and singer Blaine Cartwright and his wife Ruyter Suys. With their rather racy live shows and their music that does not disdain touching on scabrous topics such as sex, drugs and alcohol, they immediately caught the attention of the public and the media. They made their recording debut in 1998 with Let Them Eat Pussy, key album that greatly contributed to the creation of a large fan base. Fried Chicken and Coffee, a track taken from their first record, was immediately nominated at the Grammy for Best Heavy Metal Performance.
After several changes in the band's ranks - the original bass player, Corey Parks, was replaced twice - the current line-up consists of Blaine Cartwright on vocals and guitar, Ruyter Suys on guitar, Jeremy Thompson to the battery and Bonnie Buitrago to the bass. I Nashville Pussy are also well known because they have supported the tours of many prominent bands and artists throughout their career: from Motörhead to Marilyn Manson, from Reverend Horton Heat to Skid Row.
