The band is on a busy European tour, presenting their latest album live, entitled The Right Timean album that fully reflects the style of the soul e Rhythm and Blues of its founder, released last September by the record label Tender Loving EmpireThe album is available in digital and physical formats and contains 11 previously unreleased tracks. Ural Thomas has been performing for over forty years in America's greatest theatres, as well as spontaneous jam sessionoften in his own home! In 2014 he met drummer Scott Magee, who encouraged him to start a band, and within a short period of time Thomas founded the band. Ural Thomas & The Pain, with Magee on percussion, Brent Martens on guitar, Arcellus Skys on bass, Steve Aman on keyboards, Willie Matheis on tenor sax, Dave Moonie on trumpet and Bruce Withycomb on baritone sax.
"We must be positive if we want a better world!"said Thomas. "We are all brothers and sisters, and I have always tried to bring people together with my music. If we play for twenty people, we do it as if they were twenty thousand, if we make someone smile we are satisfied. It's all about love and brotherhood. If people listen to my record and feel it as theirs I will feel very lucky." Thomas' music has its roots in the history of the soul but many publications have described it as fresh and appealing to the younger generation, still magnetic and has also been described by VIBE as a music that reminds you how beautiful life is.
