Jinte Deprez is best known for being one of the founding members of the Balthazar, among the best known and most respected Belgian alt rock bands of the last twenty years. J. Bernardt is truly a multifaceted talent: singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, arranger, producer, sound engineer and programmer. While his debut album Running Days is a melange of sounds shaped by electronics, Contigo is an old school work, with a band made up of a group of talented friends from Deprez led by himself during particularly intense trials in search of that spark.

Contigo - "with you" in Spanish - is a collection of dramatic, compelling and colourful tracks, imbued with drama and enlivened by sumptuous melodies, production gems and the voice of a master of the genre, Deprez. The album explores all stages of a break-up: shock, sadness, anger, denial, grief and acceptance... revealing itself to be fiercely romantic throughout the process.
