Ural Thomas & The Pain is the band founded in 2016 by Ural Thomashistorical musician of the black music 1960s American with a long solo career behind him and countless collaborations with the strongest voices on the world music scene, including Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding and James Brown. The band recently released its album entitled The Right Timean album that fully reflects the style of the soul e Rhythm and Blues of its founder. The album was released last September on the record label Tender Loving EmpireThe album is available in digital and physical formats and contains 11 previously unreleased tracks. Ural Thomas has been performing for over forty years in America's greatest theatres, as well as spontaneous jam session often in his own home! In 2014 he met drummer Scott Magee, who encouraged him to start a band, and within a short period of time Thomas founded the band. Ural Thomas & The Pain, with Magee on percussion, Brent Martens on guitar, Arcellus Skys on bass, Steve Aman on keyboards, Willie Matheis on tenor sax, Dave Moonie on trumpet and Bruce Withycomb on baritone sax.
