It was a comeback in style that of Loredana Bertè last Friday in Rome on stage at theAuditorium Parco della Musica. Nine years after her last live concert, she began the tour that will take her around Italy until 15 December with an astonishing show, two and a half hours of songs amidst the jubilation of the fans - 1,200 in a packed Sala Sinopoli - who followed all the songs by heart. Ample space was given to the hits that over the years have made her an unparalleled rockeuse and to some of the songs from her latest album BabyBertè.
The concert opened with BangBang sung by Aida Cooper (who also paid tribute to Mia Martini, with E Non Finisce Mica Il Cielo), before the arrival on stage of Loredana, who, as unconventional as ever, first presented the Bandabertèsix excellent musicians with an unequivocal rock approach, enlisted among the teachers of the Franco Mussida's CPM: Michele Quaini and Silvio Piccioni (guitars), Glenda Carrubba (bass),Simone Bertolotti (keyboards), Fabio Zacco (samples), Emiliano Bassi (drums). Loredana closed the concert by singing I AM NOT A LADYbut she is not to be believed: she is the one and only undisputed lady of Italian rock.
