BARB WIRE DOLLS: in Ranica (BG), Vercelli and Pisa the band launched by Lemmy of Motörhead

A charge of grunge and punk rock comes to Italy in October with the Barb Wire Dolls. The band, launched to success under the wing of the irreplaceable Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead, will be in our country Wednesday 5 October at Druso in Ranica (BG), Thursday 6 October at Officine Sonore in Vercelli e Friday 7 October at Borderline in Pisa (free admission, but reserved for ARCI card holders). Tickets for the concerts at Druso and Officine Sonore can be purchased at the box office on the evening of the concert.

Barb Wire Dolls will be in Italy to present their new album, Desperate, released last 22 July by Motörhead Music: 10 tracks that perfectly encapsulate all the punk rock, metal and grunge energy that has made the band internationally famous. An album that shows great promise: recorded at Sonic Ranch Studio (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ministry, Gogol Bordello) and the NRG Studio (Motörhead, Foo Fighters, No Doubt), Desperate was produced and mixed by Jay Baumgardner (Bush, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nevermind of Nirvana, Blood Sugar Sex Magik of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pop of U2). Desperate was presented live on 6 August at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany, the world's largest metal music festival.

From the island of Crete to Los Angeles, the Barb Wire Dolls have in a very short time achieved such great acclaim that they have played on more than 700 stages in America, the UK and Europe without stopping. The band's electrifying energy has not gone unnoticed: among the most important rock icons, just Lemmy of the Motörheadimmediately saw the great potential and placed the Barb Wire Dolls under his wing. Disgusted by the current state of rock music and the lack of real rebels, Lemmy saw in this band the right way to bring back the torch of rock and roll. I Barb Wire Dolls are Isis Queensinger and leader of the Barb Wire Dolls and undisputed fashion icon, Pyn Doll on lead guitarKrash Doll to the battery, Iriel Blaque bass and Remmington on rhythm guitar. Few bands led by a woman have had such an immediate and tangible impact on the contemporary music scene in the history of music.
