BIOMECHANICAL: FOUR DATES IN ITALY

Formed in 2001, Biomechanical immediately jumped to critical attention with their first demo 'Distorted', which earned him several offers from major labels in the UK and beyond. Two years later, it was Revolver Records that released his debut album, 'Eight Moons", thanks to which they came to the attention of the general public. Reviews were unanimously enthusiastic, both on the web and in the print media:

METAL HAMMER UK "'Eight Moons' is among the most forward-looking albums of the year".
TERRORIZER Between Nevermore and Dream Theater, Biomechanical is definitely the greatest British band of its kind".
KERRANG "'Eight Moons' is an impressive first hit, which sounds avant-garde without losing sight of the undeniable pleasures of old-school heavy metal".
TOTAL GUITAR "Think about how you felt listening to albums like 'British Steel' or 'Kill 'em all' for the first time. It really is that good."

Biomechanical's style, which many describe as a unique blend of traditional metal, trash, and more modern sounds, all amalgamated by personal and innovative songwriting, has given the band the opportunity to stand out in the metal scene and carve its own space among other bands. During 2003, there were also numerous opportunities to see the band live, especially in England, where they held their first headline tour in November. Less than a year later, their notes reached the ears of Lee Barrett, boss of Elitist Records, who in September 2004 put them under contract for their next record. The latter sees the light of day in June 2005 and, in Barrett's own words, "will prove to have left its mark on the history of British heavy metal. "The Empires of the worlds"This is the title and features the production of the legendary Andy Sneap (Killswith Engage, Nevermore, Opeth, Machine Head), and the graphic collaboration, for cover and artwork, of Nat Jones, renowned artist already working for 'Spawn' and Rob Zombie. If the concept behind the album refers to a future in which men and machines will come to merge together (the singer's vision depicted on the ominous cover), the musical influences lie mostly in the glorious past of British heavy, Judas Priest above all. In fact, Biomechanical effectively represent the perfect union between more modern extreme metal and classic metal, a devastating fusion of the killer riffs of the Judas Priestthe violent march of the Panther and the power of Metallica!!

So let's get ready to see them at work also in Italy, for a series of four concerts that will see them descend on the peninsula for the first time.
