BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AT ROCK IN ROME: ALL THE INFO FOR 11 JULY

After a 4-year absence, on Thursday 11 July 2013 Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band return to the capital in concert, in this case at the "Rock in Rome', in an area set up specifically for this artist and his audience, which has never been used before. Many initiatives conceived by Barley Arts, organiser of the tour, together with The-Base, founder of the Rock In Roma, to make access and outflow to the area as easy as possible for the more than 30,000 expected fans, as well as staying in the arena on a day that promises to be a real party. This is in fact the last of the 4 concerts that Springsteen has held in Italy this summer for the Wrecking Ball Tour, which will end in 3 weeks in Ireland.

The first piece of news is that for the first time in the history of his shows in Italy, Bruce Springsteen asked to have a band on stage before his concert, and the shared choice fell on The Cyborgsthe duo, originally from Rome, but for more than two years engaged in a very intense live activity throughout the peninsula and always with excellent feedback, thanks to their explosive mixture of excellently played vintage rock and certainly curious image (hidden behind a myriad of instruments and two welder's masks).

On the other hand, with regard to the practical aspects for the optimal enjoyment of the concert, thought was given to the road network and means of connection to the city centre and the airports, as well as to the audience's stay at the concert.

To get to the concert, the public can use the trains that connect Termini Station to Capannelle in just 8 minutes for 1 euro and Ciampino Airport to Capannelle in 10 minutes for 1.10 euro. A shuttle service is also available from Ciampino airport to Capannelle for 8 euro.

For the return journey at the end of the concert, no less than 6 trains are guaranteed until after 2.30 a.m. with destination  Tiburtina Station and as many to Ciampino, completely free of charge. The return to the centre is also guaranteed by a shuttle service that can also be booked on the day of the concert for only 4 euro, with destination Piazza San Giovanni, Roma Ostiense Station and Termini Station.
