BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: LOTTERY CONFIRMED FOR PIT ALSO IN ROME ON 11 JULY

LOTTERY CONFIRMED TO REGULATE THE ORDER OF ENTRY

AL PIT SOTTOPALCO AT SPRINGSTEEN'S CONCERT IN ROME

Thursday 11 July 2013 at Rock in Roma Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play the fourth and last Italian concert of the Wrecking Ball Tour 2013. Again, as in Padua and Milan, a lottery will be organised to regulate access to the pit, the area closest to the stage, a coveted destination for the most ardent fans who are usually prepared to endure hours in line in front of the gates to secure it.

Thanks to the lottery system, fate will democratically determine the order of entry to the pit for ticket holders, which in the case of this concert is standing room only in the lawn. For the occasion, the tour organiser, Barley Artstogether with that of Rock in Rome, The-Basehave prepared some benefits for those participating in the lottery. These include a dedicated car park, PARKING LOTTERYalong the Via Appia Nuova, at entrance D, at the fixed cost of 5 euros for 10 and 11 July (as lottery participants are likely to arrive early).

Despite this facility, all patrons are advised to use the train that connects Termini Station to Capannelle in just 8 minutes at a cost of 1 euro and Ciampino Airport to Capannelle in 10 minutes at 1.10 euro.

Even for the return journey, no fewer than six trains to Tiburtina and as many to Ciampino are guaranteed until after 2.30 a.m., completely free of charge.

These are the short details to enter the lottery: on the day of the show, at entrance D to fans holding tickets for the Bruce Springsteen And The E Street band concert at Rock In Roma, starting at 8 a.m., 2000 numbered wristbands will be distributed and their holders will already be able to enter the Rock In Roma area. At 1 p.m. the number draw will take place, which will irrefutably indicate the order of access to the pit. At 2 p.m. all wristband and concert ticket holders will be let into the show area and into the pit in the established order.

The procedure will give all lottery participants the same percentage of probability of gaining access to the area closest to the stage and will still guarantee access to the pit itself for the others drawn. In an attempt not to make entry to the pit discriminatory for anyone, the organisers foresee that, ONCE THE BRACELET-EQUIPPED FANS ARE ENTERED INTO THE PIT, OTHER TICKET POSSESSORS MAY ENTER SECONDLY TO THE CAPACITY OF THE PIT ITSELF.

The details of the operation follow:

1.     On the day of the show, holders of a valid concert ticket receive a numbered wristband from 8 a.m. onwards. The distribution is carried out by 'Wrecking Ball Tour' staff, only at the designated gate (ENTRANCE D), which is appropriately signposted.

2.     The numbered wristband is only handed out to persons physically present and in possession of a valid ticket and only to the extent of 1 bracelet for 1 ticket.

3.     Anyone who receives a numbered wristband has the same chance to enter the Venue and thus the pit first. The numbered wristband guarantees access to the pit. Those who do not receive a numbered wristband will be able to access the pit while places last, entering from any entrance to the concert area.

4.     at 1 p.m. 1 NUMBER will be drawn to establish the order of access to the Prato: for example, if the number 900 were drawn, the holder of coupon 900 would be the first to enter, followed by 901, 902 and so on until the predetermined number of places is reached. The number drawn will be announced by megaphone to all those present in the designated place.

5.     At the time of the draw, numbered ticket holders must be present and ready to enter the Venue if they wish to take advantage of the number sequence drawn. Otherwise they can also enter the pit later, obviously losing their place in the sequence. This means that they must not be in possession of any blunt objects or be allowed to enter the concert area, such as cameras, cameras, bottles....In case of doubt, we invite the public to check with the personnel in charge before the draw.

6.     At 1 p.m., with the support of the staff, participants with numbered bracelets will line up in the order established by the draw.

7.     At 2 p.m. the winners, with ticket in hand, will be let in in the established order

8.     Participation in the draw is not compulsory for any ticket holder, who may decide to enter the general concert area for which they have purchased a ticket.
